Surrogate Mothers in India

It takes a generous and loving woman act as a surrogate mother for an infertile couple. A surrogate needs the support of her family, and a team of medical professionals and support staff, to assist her practically and emotionally before, during and after pregnancy. Surrogate mothers give up more than one year of their lives. They are women with big hearts, who feel deeply for their clients and the pain they have endured trying to become parents.

Potential surrogate mothers are rigorously screened physically for general health and optimum fertility.  Equally as important, surrogate mothers are psychologically counselled to ensure they can cope with the emotional demands and responsibility of the demands of our surrogacy program. Time is spent with each surrogate to ensure they give informed consent to be surrogate mothers. Husbands of our surrogate mothers also meet with our psychologist to ensure they are able to support their wives in their decision to participate in the program.

Potential surrogates have a general physical examination and are screened for infectious diseases. Tests include a full blood count, renal, liver and thyroid function tests, chest X-Ray to rule out tuberculosis, plus a full range of tests for fertility. A list of screening tests for surrogates is available upon request.

Trully this is a wonderfull practise going on in India with proper NGOs and government organisations supporting such surrogate centres. Infertility is not a disease. Its a syndrome that brings misery to peoples lives. So being on the top list of surrogacy practise all across the world foreigners tend to choose India as their destination for conceiving a child because they feel its completely safe here. So to somehow ironically India again contributes towards world population and beacuse of this practise and being an Indian i feel proud of my country. The practise trully brings happiness to many married couples all across the world.
